One of the new typography features in CorelDRAW 2020 is support for variable fonts. Variable fonts allow you to modify font properties such as width, slant, weight and more, resulting in a wide variety of looks from just one font. In this tutorial, we’ll explore how to access these features and experiment with different properties to fine-tune the look of text in your designs.

Adding Depth with Shadows

With CorelDRAW’s shadow tools it’s easy to add depth to your design elements. Learn how to apply and fine-tune a drop shadow or inner shadow effect.

With CorelDRAW’s Shadow tool, you can add 3D depth to your text and design elements and simulate light falling on objects. In this tutorial, you will learn how to use the Inner Shadow tool introduced in CorelDRAW 2020, as well as the Drop Shadow tool. See how easy it is to apply shadows with just a click, and then fine-tune with the property bar controls for color, width, transparency, direction, feathering, and more, until you get just the right look.
